Lot Description

A set of seventeen Moore painted and parcel-gilt porcelain turtle soup bowls late 19th century

The well gilt and moulded in the form of a turtle shell, the rim with cream ground and parcel-gilt green head, legs, and tail; all stamped or impressed to verso with maker's mark, impressed "ENGLAND," with painted model number 1533, and some with additional impressed letter marks. (17).
