A pair of Chinese huanghuali and hardwood marble-inset continuous-back armchairs 17th/18th century style
Each with timber of reddish/golden brown, dense grain, the arms with an attractive swirled figure, with curved arm continuing to vertical posts extended through the rectangular woven cane-inset seat, the curved splat inset with a panel centered by a circular Dali marble inset, below a ruyi-form aperture, beaded skirt and flange supports above a box stretcher. .
