Lot Description

A Chinese carved greyish-white jade chime on hardwood stand qing dynasty, 18th/19th century

Of stylized scrolling "bat"-form, each side carved in low relief with five bats, one side centered by a shou symbol, the other a wan symbol, all among scrolling clouds reminiscent of lingzhi and ruyi-heads.

Jade W: 6 3/4 in., 17.4cm; overall H: 7 in., 17.8cm
