Lot Description

Two gold and ivory love tokens/pins England or America, late 18th/early 19th century

The first, with oval reserve painted with woman blindfolding cupid, the reverse fixed with horizontal bar pin; the second, of marquise form, depicting couple walking beside well beneath the inscription, "LOVE FOR LOVER," the reverse fitted with pin; together with two gold and ivory pendants: one in the shape of a teardrop depicting beribboned pair of hearts, the reverse set with hair; the second, of oval form, depicting ship in harbor, the reverse with ferns and initials "AF/ SF," and a stick pin in the shape of a flower, depicting daisy in seed pearl surround, the reverse with hinged aperture.
