Gold and ivory mourning pendant Probably America, late 18th/early 19th century

Of oval form, paitned with female mourner beneath willow tree, leaning on plinth decorated with stacked urns bearing initials (from the bottom): "AC," "TC," "AC" "IC" "PC" and "AC," two ships sailing in the distance, beaded gold surround, loop attachment, seemingly unmarked.
