Lot Description

Silver pitcher N. Taylor and Co., New York, NY, circa 1825

Of baluster form, supported on a square base with ball and claw feet, the body chased with palm frond motifs and the bands decorated with palmette and anthemion, oak leaves, acorns, and grapevines; the handle issuing from two neoclassical masques, the hinged cover with acorn finial; impressed maker's mark to underside.
