Gold and ivory mourning pendant England or America, dated 1793-1796
Of oval form, painted with female figure decorating plinth topped by covered urn and inscribed, "IN MEMORY OF/ T.L.S. Sproat/ W.L.M. Sproat/ Anna Sproat/ John Sproat/ LHS Keith/ OB. 1793. 1795. 1796," the upper edge further inscribed, "REMEMBER THY CREATOR IN THY YOUTH," loop attachment, seemingly unmarked.
