A fine Italian tin glazed earthenware charger after the Magi Chapel Ulisse Cantagalli (Italian, 1839-1901), second half 19th century

Finely painted in polychrome and lustre glaze after Benozzo Gozzoli (Italian, c. 1421-1497), Procession of the Magi, Palazzo Medici Riccardi, Florence; the verso with blue underglaze cockerel mark, stamped "Firenze/ITALY" and inscribed "Benozzo Gozzoli/Palazzo Riccardi-Firenze."
