A Japanese painted and gilt battledore, Hagoita Edo period

Bearing an old attribution to Tosa Mitsunari, circa 1716 Decorated with musicians dancing around bound grains, as courtiers look on, above three hollyhock-leaf mon of the Tokugawa clan, brocade-wrapped handle.
