A Chinese jadeite 'phoenix, magpie and peony' vase and cover
the flattened vase carved in high relief with luxurient peony branches, the flat cover surmounted by a phoenix with its tail extended to the rim of the vase, skillfully utilizing the apple green color of the stone in the center of the flowers.
