Lot Description

A Chinese greyish-white jade 'boy with halberd' plaque and a pale celadon 'boy with lingzhi' plaque qing dynasty, 18th/19th century

the first, of thick oval section with scrolled top, carved in low relief with a boy bearing a halberd with chime, beside a pine tree, the reverse with peach spray, bat and lingzhi, the stone of an even white with grey overtones; the second of shaped oval form, with scrolled top and bottom, carved in shallow relief with a boy bearing a lingzhi stalk, the reverse with four character inscription, the stone of an even very pale celadon tone.
