Folio, contemporary calf and cloth, period red morocco cover label; binding rubbed and worn, spine gone, front cover detached. With engraved title page and 65 hand-colored engraved maps. Some dust smudging to title page, maps clean and with good margins, some light toning to first several maps, occasional minor spotting to maps, some foxing to letterpress text at back, front free endpaper and front blank chipped and detached, dust soiling and wear to back end papers. Attractive set of the maps, including the (Republic of) Texas. "1842" date engraved as part of engraved title.
