Richmond, June 10, 1788. 13 x 14 1/4 inches; 330 x 360 mm, on vellum, with paper seal, partly printed, filled in in manuscript; creasing and darkening along old folds, ink browning and just starting to fade, signature clear and generally strong. Land grant to Uriah Martin. Signed as governor of Virginia.
Randolph, Edmund, 1753-1813, American statesman, first U.S. Attorney General, Secretary of State, delegate to Continental Congress and Constitutional Convention, aide-de-camp to George Washington, governor of Virginia.
