A German silver ewer in the Renaissance style Hanau, last quarter 19th century
Of typical form, the hinged lidded ewer in a 17th century Nürnberg style, with mythological scenes in relief within elaborate framing and draping with acanthus and fruiting foliage; the lid decorated with a swan feeding her cygnets, above a modelled conforming base.
