A Russian silver-gilt and cloisonné enamel footed cup Vasilii S. Semyonov, retail mark of Sazikov, Moscow, 1882-1889
The octagonal cup with cloisonné enameled paneled sides in black, white, green, turquoise, white, and ochre against a pounced gold ground, above a ball form stem surmounting a similarly decorated lobed round base; the underside with marks for Semyonov, 91 zolotniki and Moscow, and the Sazikov retailer's mark with imperial warrant; further decorated with scratched inventory numbers 7705-2 and N10.
