[Plate 167, The Birds of America, 1827 - 1838.] 20 13/16 x 26 7/8 inches; 529 x 683 mm - plate mark, 22 7/8 x 29 15/16 inches; 581 x 760 mm - sheet size, with the J. Whatman watermark, dated 1833? Margins trimmed, mounted on board, evenly and attractively toned, scattered light foxing to top of plate and upper margin. Watermark evident and seemingly intact but partly obscured by mounting board.
