Signed by Maxcy as Solicitor of the Treasury, enjoining Francis Scott Key as "U.S. Attorney [in] Georgetown," to "enter satisfaction on the judgement received against Mr. Yeaton." Maxcy, Virgil, 1785 - 1844, First solicitor of U. S. Treasury; killed by explosion of a gun aboard the U.S.S. Princeton while a guest of President John Tyler.
