1 vol. 8vo, modern blue wrappers. Lacking original wrappers and with the folding plate (of 2 plates) only, also lacking p. 655/666. Title page loose and chipped along front edge - no loss of printing. Trimmed but with good margins. Internally generally clean. Constitution, p. 659 - 665 intact and clean. In modern custom grey cloth case with printed cover label. Generally considered the first periodical printing of the U.S. Constitution.
