Lot Description
A rare Chinese bronze vase with applied qilong yuan shi yuan nian mark, 17th century
of ovoid form tapering to base and with everted rim, three qilong on surface issue from their mouths the elements of air, fire and water respectively in and around which are seen a bat, a carp, a phoenix and billowing clouds, well-cast lappet bands at shoulder and near foot.
