George III silver coffee pot London, 1796-97, maker's mark rubbed

Baluster form raised on circular pedestal foot, repoussé-worked and chased with rocaille, flowers, and scrolls throughout, the hinged cover surmounted by urn-form finial, engraved with crest within the motto "Deus Intersit" and monogrammed to base.
