Pair of monumental Sèvres style gilt bronze mounted and painted porcelain urns 19th century
In the style of Louis-Philippe, each with cobalt ovoid body mounted with foliate handes and painted with reserve to recto depicting the Abduction of Europa and Mercury Entrusting the Infant Bacchus to the Nymphs of Nysa, respectively, and with interlaced "LP" to verso; each raised on gilt bronze socle above fluted and garlanded cylindrical pedestal on canted square base.
