Fine and large German painted porcelain plaque, Der Früchtekranz 1856, signed Carl Meinelt
Finely painted after Peter Paul Rubens (Flemish 1577-1640), with seven putti carrying a garland of fruit, signed and dated "C. Meinelt 1856" to lower right, the verso incised "20 l. 12 1/2 h.", in gilt frame carved with cartouches and putti carrying fruit filled cornucopia.
