Lot Description

*Sheffield silver-plated covered entrée dish the cover by Matthew Boulton, 19th century

The domed cover gadrooned at shoulder with reeded foliate handle and lion terminals, engraved with coat-of-arms, with double sunburst mark; the oval twin-handled stand with gadrooned and foliate rim on four ball feet with removable liner, apparently unmarked.
