Lot Description

Sterling silver 'No. 10' pattern flatware service Gilbert L. Crowell, Jr. for Dominick & Haff, New York, NY, 1896, various retailers

With varying flowerhead terminals, comprising twelve each dinner knives with French blades, dinner forks, tablespoons; eighteen luncheon forks; eight luncheon knives; six each dinner knives with blunt blades and dessert knives; five dessert forks; twenty coffee spoons; thirteen teaspoons in three slightly varying sizes; two each salt spoons and serving spoons; one each cake server, master butter, fish server, cream ladle, gravy ladle, punch ladle, mustard spoon, asparagus server; some serving pieces with incised decoration to bowl or blade, and some gilt-washed; monogrammed; in original wooden chest from Mauser Mfg. Co., the front with engraved plaque "Presented to N Bro Jacob Metz as a Token of Esteem by the German Masonic Temple Association April 5th, 1903." (124).
