Of Canadian equestrian interest, the 1926 silver gilt Connaught Cup Stakes trophy
The George III neoclassical style twin-handled urn, apparently unmarked, engraved within a roundel to one side "Challenge Cup, Presented by Field Marshall H.R.H. The Duke of Connaught and Strathearn, K.G., Governor general of Canada, and H.R.H. The Duccess of Connaught of Strathearn to the Ontario Jockey Club, 1912", raised on sterling silver mounted wooden base, the silver marked Sterling 925 and with Birks mark, the front silver panel engraved "Won by Goldbeater, May 26th, 1926 Owner D. Raymond".
