Six-piece sterling silver tea and coffee service Goodnow and Jenks, Boston, MA, 1893-1905, retailed by J.E. Caldwell & Co.
Comprising a hot water kettle on stand, coffee and teapot, covered sugar, creamer, and wastebowl, of octagonal urn-form with linear band at shoulder and angular handle, raised on conforming pedestal foot, the pots with domed cover surmounted by an urn-form finial, each engraved with monogram below a crest of a bearded man within a wreath cartouche.
