Lot Description

Victorian gilt-metal mounted Sèvres-style plaque inlaid thuya and ebonized sideboard third quarter 19th century

The upper section with three graduated galleried stepped rectangular shelves over two small cupboard doors inset with Sèvres style plaques depicting Marie Antoinette and Madame Elizabeth flanking a mirrored recess; the lower section with rectangular top and brass banded edge over one long and two short frieze drawers supported by carved and turned columns united by serpentine and rectangular undertiers with mirrored back, raised on toupie feet.
