The circular dial mounted with porcelain plaques enameled with Roman hours and engraved with Arabic minutes, within straight sided case surmounted by a bell top with gilt bronze finial in the form of the seated figure of Minerva, decorated in première partie to the exterior and contra partie to the interior with arabesques and mounted with figures of the three Fates to the glazed door and volutes surmounted by espagnolette masks to each corner, raised on conforming bracket decorated in contra partie.
