Minton majolica "Spring & Summer" sweetmeat dish after a model by Albert Carrier-Belleuse, second half 19th century
Modeled as two Bacchic putti crowned with festoons and supporting a shell form bowl to the center, raised on a naturalistic base, the underside impressed "Mintons", shape number "365", with trefoil and date cypher possibly for 1869.
