The hood with double scroll molded cresting and floral carved rosettes, three flame carved finials above arched glass face door enclosed by round turned columnettes, the brass face inscribed, "Daniel Rose, Reading," gilded dolphin and scroll spandrels set in the arch above the chapter ring with black enamel Roman numeral hours and outer minute ring in Arabic numerals enclosed by foliate and scroll spandrels, the arched and lip molded waist door above plain base, both with fluted chamfered corners, all raised on ogival bracket feet.
