Lot Description

A group of Chinese ritual gilt bronze vessels 19th century

comprising a circular paste box cast with magpie and prunous flowers to cover, a cylindrical incense holder raised on a circular platform decorated to body with three panels showing birds and flowers, a flattened globular censer raised on three thin legs, also cast with six reserves of flower and bird motifs to body, lid hollowed to show four crysanthemum blossoms and scrolling vines topped by a fu lion finial (3).
