A Chinese gilt bronze figure of Vaisravana

cast to show the guardian holding a mongoose in his left hand and his right hand raised, wearing a sturdy and well-defined armour with a sash billowing around his shoulders, seated in lalitasana on a recumbent snow lion on a single-lotus base.
