Lot Description

A Chinese gilt bronze figure of Shakyamuni buddha kangxi period

cast seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base with hands before chest in dharmachakramudra, clad in a sanghati with lotus flower hems, the face with serene expression, flanked by pendulous earlobes, the hair in tight curls, topped with a knot over ushnisha.
