Lot Description
A Chinese white soapstone figure of Shou Lao qing dynasty, 18th century
carved to show deity in recumbent position, holding a ruyi scepter in his left hand, dressed in long robes with stylized borders, carrying a cheerful smile to face, stone of white tone and smooth surface, with traces of black and red pigments, pierced with two apetures to base and an incised character indicating the number nine.
