Three Persian slip-painted pottery vessels circa 10th-12th century A.D.

Comprising a Nishapur slip-painted vase decorated in manganese with calligraphic inscriptions encircling the mouth and shoulder; a lustre glazed pitcher slip-painted in manganese with a frieze of vegetal decoration; and a Persian painted buff ware pottery vase, circa 1000-800 b.c., slip-painted with a frieze depicting birds between geometric panels.
