Herschel & Struve/ reduced to the year/ 1850/ By Jno. Addison/ manufactured and published under the superintendence of the society for the diffusion of useful knowledge/ By Malby & Co./ Jan. 1 1848/ Houghton Street Newcastle Street Strand, above a retailer's label reading: T.W. Saunders 6 Charing Cross London, with brass meridian ring and hour dial, paper horizon ring, raised on turned support and outswept tapering legs joined by turned stretcher centered by circular compass terminating in brass casters.
