Lot Description

Tibetan kapala with bronze cover and stand 19th century

Mid-brown patina, the cover surmounted by multi-headed finial and carved to show arabesques supporting the eight auspicious symbols, the skull libation cup painted with inscriptions and with bronze cover mounted with coral and turquoise cabochons to the edge, raised on conforming triangular base decorated to the top with three heads separated by flame walls.
