Curved single edge blade, the forte with two short fullers engraved to each side with inscriptions including "London" and "August 10 1880", mounted with Indian tulwar form hilt (probably earlier and associated), cast with reticulated arabesques within beaded borders, retaining traces of original gilding, the grip similarly decorated, in original purple velvet scabbard.
