Federal-style carved mahogany armchair attributed to ernest f. hagen (1830-1913), new york, ny, circa 1900
The tablet crest carved with bows joined by ribbon swags, the downswept reeded arms supported on leaf carved and reeded vasiform supports, above compass seat with reeded seat rail, raised on round tapering and reeded legs headed by blocks carved with flowerheads, the legs terminating in brass casters.
