Early Victorian brass bound rosewood lapdesk on stand 19th century
The rectangular top with central brass mount engraved "G. Dyer" flanked by twin brass bands and brass capped corners opening to a locking lift-up green baize writing surface and a series of compartments, the case with brass bands and brass mounted corners, raised on a mahogany base supported by molded square legs.
