The censer's body of rounded square form and raised on four leaf-form legs issuing from intricately-cast gilt bronze lingzhi heads; the large handles of S-form: capped with cloisonné lingzhi heads and terminating in leaf-like mounts; the vented cover with elaborate gilt bronze grate and surmounted by unique gilt bronze natural lingzhi-form finial; decorated throughout with light blue geometric bands and scrolling over a dark blue ground and with colorful lotus flowers surrounded by green leaves and flowering vines.
