Large and rare Chinese cinnabar lacquer 'Shou' covered box 18th century
The round box with domed cover thickly lacquered and deeply carved to show lotus flowers and a row of fu bats above key bands to sides and to top with several juhua blossoms surrounding a central shou character; the interior decorated with gold lacquer over brown and showing fu bats among clouds.
