Lot Description

Two German silver sauce boats

The first by Georg Roth & Co., Hanau, 1891-1919, with repoussé ram's head mask and festoons, on conforming plate with similar motif; the other sauce boat in the form of a nautilus shell with similar garland and ram's head to integral drip tray, with German hallmarks and unidentified maker's mark. (2).

H: 5 1/2, L: 9 1/2 in. (larger). Total weight: 19 oz.
