George I Britannia standard silver tankard samuel wastell, london, 1719-20
Cylindrical form repoussé-worked and incised with all over C-scrolls and flowerheads on a stippled ground, hinged cover with scrolling thumbpiece and gilt-washed interior, spout possibly added later, underside with scratch weight "38.8".
