Lot Description

Civil War 35-Star Guidon: 119th Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry circa 1862

The hand-sewn silk swallowtail flag comprised of thirteen white and red stripes and blue canton stenciled with thirty-five gold stars, as prescribed in General Order No. 4 of January 18, 1862; together with the color's original staff with brass finial, and a copy of the Annual Report of the Adjutant General of Pennsylvania, Transmitted to the Governor in Pursuance of Law for the Year 1887(1888).
