Signed & inscribed on verso of brown paper mount. * Autograph manuscript signed. [Paris], Aug 18, 1886. Complete poem in 2 stanzas: "To Mrs Will H. Low. Even in the bluest Monday of July ..." Fair copy of the poem published in 1885 as #12 of A Child's Garden of Versus, with the dedication to Mrs. Low as its published heading. 1p, 4to, moderately toned, light horizontal crease, minor chipping at top edge - no loss to ms.
