Many of the photos (primarily 10 x 8 or 5 x 7 in orig silver prints) depict many of the project's scientists, incl Robert J. Oppenheimer & Enrico Fermi, receiving congratulations and/or medals from General Leslie Richard Groves, head of the project, & other military officials. Also incl photo portraits & candid views of many of the project's military officers. Photo portraits of General Groves, Harry McKenzie Roper, Roscoe C. Wilson & A.R. Luedecke are signed & inscr to Lt. Colonel Redenius. Of the official photos of Bikini Baker, 14 are silver prints, 7 are chromogenic. Clean, crisp & attractive.
