1st ed. 12mo, orig gilt-lettered terracotta cloth, edges untrimmed; corners very slightly bumped, spine ends slightly worn. Internally clean, minor creasing to front free endpaper. Early (1879) pencil ownship signature on front free endpaper recto. 1st bdg state with cicular blind-stamped device on back cover. Tight, bright copy of Lanier's first book of poems.
