All bound in contemp or near contemp 3/4 green morocco & marbled bds, raised bands, t.e.g., other edges rough trimmed; edges & joints slightly to moderately scuffed, spines faded to brown. Scattered light internal foxing. Constituting a complete works of Coleridge, edited in turn by his son-in-law Henry Nelson Coleridge, his only daughter Sara Coleridge & wife of his cousin Henry Nelson Coleridge, and his 3rd son Derwent Coleridge. Head of title-page of vol 1, The Literary Remains, bears the dated "Feb 1849" ownership signature of Sara Coleridge (apparently noting these as a presentation from her husband). Also with the dated "June 16, 1887" ownership signature of Charles & Fanny MacVeagh on most half-titles.
