Fine and unusual French Restauration patinated and gilt bronze mantel clock first quarter 19th century
The case surmounted by a gilt bronze figure of a boy seated and washing his feet with a sponge, as a water urn opposite him issues water from a fountain head, a large mirror stands beside him, above circular white enamel dial with Roman numerals, surrounded by insects and with a female mask at each side, raised on two paw feet, supported on a lozenge shaped base with egg and dart edge, raised on flattened bun feet.
